How does the treatment work?

Profhilo is typically injected into 5 specific points on each side of the face (BAP points). Once injected, it spreads like a 'honey-like' gel, stimulating your own collagen and elastin production over several weeks to improve skin quality.

No. While it is made of Hyaluronic Acid, it has a completely different structure. Dermal fillers are designed to create volume and change shape (like lips or cheeks). Profhilo is designed to improve skin texture, tone, and laxity without adding volume.

What are the common side effects?

Immediately after treatment, you will see small, bee-sting-like bumps at the injection sites. These are completely normal and usually disappear within 24 hours as the product integrates into the skin. Minor bruising is also possible.

Yes! Profhilo is widely considered one of the best non-surgical treatments for 'crepey' skin on the neck and décolletage. It can also be used to rejuvenate the hands, arms, and knees.

Is there any downtime?

There is very little downtime. You can return to your normal daily activities in Essex immediately. We simply advise you to avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for 24 hours while the product settles.
