LIP FILLER
Fillers, also known as dermal fillers, are used to replace lost volume. As we age, our cells produce less natural collagen and elastin and our skin becomes drier and less plump due to a reduction in the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid in our bodies. (HA is a sugar molecule that is present throughout the body and lubricates joints and acts as a moisturising cushion.)
Dermal fillers, which are high in HA, are injected under the skin through a fine needle, this adds volume, visibly smoothing lines and wrinkles and making the face fresher. Generally, fillers would be used in the cheek area or the lips to plump out the outline and restore volume.
Lip Filler -
As part of the ageing process, lips can lose their natural elasticity causing them to become thinner, lose their shape and decrease in volume. Lip fillers are a quick, effective and non-invasive solution to help you regain natural, shapely and fuller lips.
We offer standard Lip Fillers and Russian Lip Fillers. Standard lip filler is more rounded from the side and the Russian technique is flat.
Russian Lip Filler -
Is the most popular lip filling technique of 2020. It controls both the shape and volume of the lip keeping them flat. It gives you a natural look with an accentuated Cupid’s bow for doll-like lips. This technique is suitable for any age. We can customise the technique to suit your individual taste.
I personally love normal lip fillers, Russian Lips give your lips extra shape and volume whilst remaining flat. Perfect for those who desire a fuller look. This technique takes slightly longer than the standard due to the careful positioning of the filler and is prone to more bruising and swelling, you must take this into consideration.
Our lip techniques have been specifically designed to enhance the natural pattern of your lips, helping you achieve more defined, beautifully shaped, bigger lips.

BENEFITS OF LIP FILLER
You must understand that the injecting technique, causes an inflammatory response, such a swelling and bruising. This can cause disappointment over the following weeks, as the swelling subsides.
Your lips may appear smaller once the swelling goes down, the filler has NOT dissolved or disappeared, you have not wasted your money. You need to be patient. The product has sunken and formed a layer, at the base of your lip.
Most clients find that they need 2 or 3 layers before the filler builds up and no longer has room to sink, leaving you with a fuller look.
Once the filler has been built up, you should only need to replace the top layer, every 6-12 months as the bottom layer slowly dissolves.
A safe way is to layer your lips every 2 months over 3 sessions. Then you can visit once every 6-12 months.
This is a process, not just a one-off treatment!!
