Understanding the Technology: Laser vs IPL
While often grouped together, these two technologies work differently to restore your skin:

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light): Uses a broad spectrum of light wavelengths to treat multiple surface issues at once. It is the "gold standard" for treating facial redness, flushing, and general sun damage.

Medical-Grade Laser: Uses a single, concentrated wavelength of light to reach deeper layers of the skin. This precision is ideal for stubborn thread veins, birthmarks, and deep-seated pigmentation.
Our Targeted Treatment Solutions
1. Rosacea & Facial Redness
Rosacea can cause persistent flushing, visible blood vessels, and skin thickening. Our IPL therapy provides antibacterial benefits and targets the hemoglobin in the blood, collapsing the tiny vessels responsible for redness and returning your skin to a calm, even tone.
Typically 3-4 treatments are recommended to quickly and effectively remove rosacea.
2. Thread Veins & Broken Capillaries
Commonly found around the nose and cheeks, thread veins (spider veins) occur as we age or due to UV trauma. Our medical laser precisely heats the damaged vessel, causing it to break down. The body’s lymphatic system then naturally carries the waste away, often leaving the vein completely invisible.
Typically 3-4 treatments are recommended, many clients see thread veins disappear completely, while others see a reduction in appearance. There are a small number of people who see no results. It is important to remember that vessels can return, or new ones may develop so maintenance treatments may be necessary.
3. Acne & Oil Control
Laser and IPL are powerful tools in the fight against acne. The light energy targets overactive sebaceous glands to reduce oil production and kills the bacteria responsible for breakouts. Additionally, the treatment stimulates collagen to help smooth out texture and reduce the "red marks" left behind by old acne.
We also offer LED Light Therapy for acne, for those of you who are worried about lasers.

4. Sun Damage, Pigmentation & Age Spots
Sunspots and "liver spots" are clusters of excess melanin. Our laser energy is absorbed by this melanin, heating and destroying the pigment. You will notice the spots darken and eventually flake away, revealing fresh, unblemished skin underneath.
Typically 2-3 treatments are recommended.
5. Birthmark & Port Wine Stain Reduction
While port wine stains are typically present from birth and cannot be fully "cured," our advanced laser technology is highly effective at lightening the deep purple or red pigment, making the birthmark significantly paler and less prominent.

What to Expect During Your Treatment
Your safety is our priority. Every journey begins with a Consultation and Patch Test (£20) at least 24 hours before your first session.

During the Session: We use a crystal-freeze device that cools the skin on contact. Most clients describe the sensation as a light "flick" of a rubber band.

Aftercare: Immediately after, your skin may feel flushed, similar to a mild sunburn. This typically subsides within 24–48 hours. For pigmentation, the treated areas will darken before flaking off within 7 days.

Results: While some results are visible after one session, a course of 3 to 4 treatments is usually recommended for maximum, long-lasting skin rejuvenation.
