SCLEROTHERAPY - INJECTABLE LEG VEIN REMOVER
Sclerotherapy is a proven non-surgical medical procedure that has been successfully used to eliminate very small varicose veins and thread veins (also known as spider veins) for over a century. The procedure itself is quick, non-invasive and simple - which means little or no downtime!
Sclerotherapy thread vein treatment involves an injection of a solution called a sclerosant. The solution is injected into the spider vein which then effectively shrinks the blood vessels causing them to dissolve over a period of a few weeks.
Thread veins tend to be harmless, yet can be quite an inconvenience when visible on areas that are exposed on a daily basis, such as legs, leaving you feeling very conscious of them.
Although the exact cause of thread veins and spider veins are not known, there are many factors that can worsen the appearance and severity of them, such as; genetics, heat, indulgence of alcohol (mainly red wine) and hormonal imbalances. These are all thought of as triggers for this skin condition, but that doesn’t mean that they cannot be treated.
This treatment is FDA approved. The process is quick and pretty basic, recovery time is also minimal. During the consultation, we will discuss the best course of action for your thread veins, as well as the cost.
